the FXBB rules
welcome to the FX-battle blog! We, a humble fellowship of design students, created and filled this blog with animations. It is a kind of playground for us to experiment and go nuts in.
Nevertheless we put down a couple of basic rules, any violation must and will be punished. The degree of penalty is to be considered by the honorable members of this oh-so-elite club.
THE BASIC RULES ARE:
* the animations must not exceed 25 seconds
* in order to react on someone's animation, a placeholder has to be published
* from the moment the placeholder has been published the author has exactly 72 hours (max.) in order to publish his/her animation
ADVANCED RULES:
* once a month we meet and we have wikipedia.org give us a new topic every author has to react on
* this part of the FXBB is the "Blitzbattle"
* each member creates a short animation concerning the topic wikipedia.org came up with
* the Blitzbattle has to be published within 48 hours
* these are supposed to be compiled within one multi-animation (still working on that, please be patient)

AHA! HIER treibt ihr euch also alle rum! als faulster blogger aller zeiten hab ich grad mal die "comment" funktion entdeckt und festgestellt, das hier alles steht was ich die letzte zeit immer nur so vom "hören-sagen" mitkriegt habe.
I comment in german, because if my teachers would read this, they (once again...) would do what you call in german "die-hände-übern-kopf-zusammenschlagen".

wo ich grad anikas und fietes profilbilder sehe: als gute battleblogger mit viereckigen computeraugen und beständigen pixelflirren sollten wir beim nächsten treffen vll ma n gruppenfoto machen auf dem wir dann stilecht alle brillen tragen...

that wasn't that difficult, you can see the plans on the chalkboard and build one yourself :)
